--Max is forever the curious spirit. He is always fascinated by many aspects of life and humans in particular and is always trying to experience as many things as possible so he can come to a better understanding of life. He is bright, cheerful, and energetic, sometimes to a fault. He also has an incredibly short attention span, and will often move from one project to another so quickly forgetting the previous so easily that he easily gets himself into tight spots. He tends to take it all in stride though, even if it is at the cost of downright hypocrisy. |

--Whereas Max is ever cheerful and excited about new things, Cecil tends to be much more cynical, lazy, and down to earth. He's far more interested in merely living life than trying to understand it. It's sometimes a mystery as to why he is even friends with Max, as he always approaches the wily fox's antics with a sarcastic or grudging demeanor. Still, there is a spark of curiosity in him that keeps him hanging out with Max, and now and then he exhibits hypocritical excitement at whatever mess they've gotten into. Though he usually plays the straight-man to Max's actions, on occasion his weird sense of humor switches their roles. |

(well, his real name's Jeff) |
--One day, a racoon named Jeff decided that his destiny was to one day be the almighty ruler of the world. He then changed his name to a Vexxor the Destroyer and has since built a massive army (of two members) and made many plans for his ultimate goal of global domination. Because Max and Cecil's antics often wind up inadvertantly interfering with his own, he has since become convinced that they are constantly working to foil him. After all, someone MUST be constantly working against him if his plans for world domination fail all the time, because the possibility of his own incompetence is just ridiculous. |

--Steve is Vexxor the Destroyer's second in command. He's undyingly loyal and subservient to his leader and truly believes in his cause and as such is a valued soldier. There is the fact that he's quite insane and dumb as a brick though. Yes, Steve has far too many screws loose. Often in the middle of a conversation he will suddenly revert to a WWI soldier fighting in the trenches or think he's grown wings and decide to fly. His loose grasp on reality makes him an extremely gullible character who would believe that grass is blue and the sky is green were you to insist. |

--Ted is a peaceful, lazy bear who likes to sleep. He wishes that all those crazy little animals would stop bugging him when he's trying to relax. That's really all there is to him. |
